MYRIAD PRESCRIPTION OPTIONS

Some performed foot orthoses have stick on wedges and others removable plugs, but only the BIOBASICS™ CIS has ten self-adhesive, interchangeable components per pair, offering the clinician the widest possible range of prescription options, dispensed easily and quickly at chair-side.

Without additions, the BIOBASICS™ insoles have a comfortable medial longitudinal arch support to reduce excessive pronation, a metatarsal dome to redistribute pressure away from the forefoot, and a deep heel cup to stabilize the heel in the shoe. But, if a patient requires . . .

. . . a heel lift, perhaps for Achilles tendonitis; limited ankle joint dorsiflexion; or to balance a forefoot equinus, simply add the self-adhesive 5mm heel lifts to the BIOBASICS™ insoles in seconds.

. . . a first metatarsal head cut out for lesions PMTPJ 1; "sesamoiditis"; or to manage a functional hallux limitus, easily remove the EVA plug from the first metatarsal head cut out and add a forefoot valgus wedge to redistribute pressure away from the medial forefoot.

. . . a rearfoot varus wedge to reduce excessive pronation moments, simply peel off the adhesive backing and apply the 4° rearfoot varus wedges in an instant

. . . a cavity for a plantar calcaneal bursitis, or to lower the insole in the heel counter of the shoe to reduce heel slip, just peel out the plug from the calcaneal dell.
